Panos is the VP of Engineering at Ringcube Technologies, a startup in the desktop virtualization space. He came to Silicon Valley in 1991 to join the Spring project, a research distributed operating system at the Sun Microsystems Labs. In 1996, Panos joined the founding engineering team of Healtheon one of the first venture backed Web 1.0 “Software as a Service” (SaaS) companies. In 2001 Panos joined another small venture backed startup called Neoteris. Neoteris was later acquired by Juniper Networks and its product line has been active part of Juniper’s product portfolio. As a Senior Director at Juniper Panos formed and led a group that used the Neoteris platform to launch a new Juniper product in the Network Access Control space. Panos received a Diploma in Computer Engineering and Informatics from the University of Patras, Greece in 1989 and an MS in Computer Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 1991.
